Steel with two layers of plating - nickel and chromium:

  • dual protection against rust

  • wipe it down with a clean, damp cloth
  • for more stubborn dirt, use a little water, some mild soap, and a soft-bristled toothbrush
  • after cleaning, wipe it down with a clean, dry cloth
  • use it sparingly not to damage its surface, otherwise it may lose its rustproof properties

About this product

Now you can deal with two dogs using only one hand. Don’t worry that one of the leashes will slip giving your canine a chance to do whatever he or she wants any more. While other owners get tangled in several leashes and feel stressed when walking two dogs on seperate leashes, you may use this Herm Sprenger coupler leash to enjoy walks with your dogs.

This item consists of a round chain with 1/8 inches (3.0 mm) wire gauge, one O-ring and two reliable snap hooks. The O-ring is placed in the middle of a chain giving each of your two dogs 14 1/2 inches (37.5 cm) chain length. Due to the length like this, your canines will be always in your sight. Each of the snap hooks attached on the end of a chain has a swivel, to prevent any tangling during the walk.

This coupler leash comes in one size 29 inches (75 cm) and will do for two dogs with a total maximum weight up to 99 lbs (45 kg).

NOTE!

Keep in mind, although margin safety of a chain and snap hooks is higher than mentioned, we recommend not to exceed specified weight requirements.

Use this coupler leash on dogs with approximately same weight and height.

This leash is made of steel covered with chrome. Each leash made of this material has a high-gloss surface. But it is not all. Because these leashes are nickel-plated and then subsequently coated with chromium plating, they have a dual long lasting protection against rust. That is why it is suitable for conditions of high humidity and for dogs who love splashing in the river, lake, sea or ocean. However, the rust prevention properties may become lost if the surface is damaged. That is why we cannot undertake a rustproof warranty for any of our products made of plated steel, regardless of the surface finishing.

Herm Sprenger leash length is made in metric measurement, then converted to inches approximation for the U.S. market.
